My Trip
July 30, 2010 1:49 am Computers and TechnologyWhen I was studying abroad in Australia I learned a lot about the difference they have in communication. One major difference that I noticed was in their Internet service. Most of the residents that resided in Australia had the old dial up to get access to the Internet, while here in the United States for the most part we all have wireless. While I was visiting locals were talking about satellite broadband Australia, I asked what it was and one of the nice gentlemen replied it is wireless Internet. I was not surprised that Australia was trying to convert to wireless, because I know how big of an inconvenience it is to have dial up.
