Leadership

Why is it that everyone in management seems to think that they are good leader. Just because you got a mid-level management positions as not mean your good leader. Someone argued that mean you’re good at anything very hour the skills between what’s needed as a manager and needed as a leader diverts significantly. Still I run into a lot of managers who think they’re leaving people were innocently browbeating them to get their way. There is a big difference between leaving someone and forcing them to do what you want. Most managers I know take the latter approach and everyone hates them for area and the people I see who are actually doing some weeding are the ones who aren’t in a specific management position. They leave because it’s in their personality and their character in their and the ones that people go to for direction when they really want to know how to get things done. Leadership isn’t something you can just do because someone makes your manager. It has to do with who you are as a person–and most managers don’t make the cut.
