The Air Jordan Industry is a multi-billion dollar industry. Their 25th anniversary year is in 2010. Their first sneaker was introduce in 1985. A man named Peter Moore designed these authentic Jordans. They were called Air Jordan 1 and were designed to wear while playing basketball.  Unfortunately, the new Air Jordan 1 sneakers caused much chaos in the basketball industry, as well as the shoe industry. There are certain colors that basketball teams wear for uniform colors and the sneakers were not of the same colors. This turned out to be quite chaotic. At one time, Michael Jordan had to pay a fine in the amount of five thousand dollars because he continued to wear the Air Jordan 1 sneakers, even though they did not match the team’s colors of their uniforms.
