We take a lot of things for granted these days. When the first automobile was produced for the general public, it was really fairly simple. There was a reason that they called the thing a horseless carriage. It was much the same, expect that it had a simple motor. Owning one was a treat and you had to save in order to afford it. Today, you can barely count the patents that go into creating the modern car. And, everyone has access to this amazing piece of technology. Even then, we take it for granted. When you stop and think how miraculous it is and how far it has come, you definitely appreciate your reliable car much more.
