Employee development and training are not always related directly with your job responsibilities. More often than not, the training and development has to do management opportunities. If you do not allow your employees to train to better themselves in the business sector, you will not be helping them grow on the professional level. When most managers first started in business they usually had somebody mentoring them. Their mentor was able to guide them from an entry-level position to a management level position. Without this guidance, they may not have succeeded. When they look back on this day they realize how fortunate they were, mainly because the same opportunities are not being offered today.
