A short while ago I was given some card blanks to use in my card making hobby. I have been making greeting cards for years and years and have spent lots of money over time when buying all the bits and pieces which are necessary to produce a really nice and thoughtful card. But I love to use stuff that has been given to me and also recycling stuff that might otherwise be thrown in the waste bin.

And so I was grateful for the card blanks but unfortunately they did not have any envelopes with them which are essential of course. The cards were a strange size, being slightly too wide to fit into DL envelopes. I hunted around for ages trying to get matching envelopes but in the end I had to trim the cards enough so that they would fit into some white DL envelopes that I had in stock.
