Once when I was back in boy scouts, we all had to choose a course of study, as back in those days they wanted us to become well rounded little kids. So of course I chose to play the acoustic guitar. I had find a good guitar course, one that  would be acceptable to the boys scout powers that be. That wasn’t as easy as it sounds, as there is quite a bit of under the table dealings between the boy scouts and the acoustic guitar world. Lots of boy scout jamborees employ acoustic guitars in their festivities, and that represents quite a large market share to the acoustic guitar companies. It is things like this that you miss out on if you aren’t paying attention.
